About Us
Pete was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas
He attended undergraduate school at Our Lady of the Lake University and obtained a B.A. in Political Science. While attending Our Lady of the Lake University, Pete obtained academic distinctions like being named to the Dean’s List and also dedicated his time to giving back to his community by volunteering many hours of community service.
Further, Pete gained experience in public service with the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, where he advocated for victims of domestic violence and child abuse. This experience sparked Pete’s passion for the law and advocacy and motivated him to attend law school. Pete attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University and graduated from law school with honors. Throughout law school, Pete competed in both moot court and mock trial competitions and went on to win the Helen Dawn Williams Mock Trial Competition championship.
In addition, Pete has experience working with both plaintiff and defense litigation.
This is further supported by Pete’s experience with the federal judiciary that he obtained while clerking during law school with both the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, in chambers with Judge Gray H. Miller, and for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, in chambers with Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod. Pete also gained policy experience to strengthen his advocacy skills while working the 86 Texas Legislative Session in the office of Senator Kel Seliger. Pete’s experience ensures that he provides the best representation and zealous advocacy to every case he represents.
Aside from the practice of law, Pete enjoys hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
